Meet Jazmine & Baxter: Our new FURRY FRIENDS of the WEEK! (4/25/16)

Jazmine is a 3-year old spayed female. She was brought in because her owner was moving and could not take her. When Jazmine first came to the shelter, she was very hissy and angry. She has now been spayed and is starting to settle in. She is enjoying some petting time and some time out of her cage. She still does get a little nervous with loud noises and will hide behind her towel that is set up in her cage. It will probably take her a little while to adjust to a new environment. Her previous owner said that she gets along with children and other cats.
Baxter is a 5- year old black lab mix who will make the perfect pet! He walks very well on a leash, is super friendly, loves attention and knows a few basic commands like sit & paw. Baxter is very food motivated so he should be easy to train! He is playful, affectionate, laid-back, and friendly boy who can’t wait to be in his new home. Baxter is scared in his kennel at the RISPCA and may bark at you, but once he’s out of his kennel he is a different dog!
