Congratulations to this week’s Showcase Cinemas High School Team of the Week: BurrillvilleHigh School Girls Volleyball Team

Burrillville Girls Volleyball has shown tremendous growth and teamwork this season going strong with a 5-1 record thus far. They have team members who won Projo Player of the Week and Paul Masse Scholar Athlete Awards last week. They are also gearing up for their Annual PINK OUT event on 10/19. The girls are selling hand-painted potted spider plants, and hosting a bake and raffle basket sale. All proceeds are being donated to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Fund. Last year they raised over $1,600 and are hoping to beat that goal this year.
