Meet Coconut & Mona – Our latest FURRY FRIENDS of the WEEK (6/27/16)
Adopt them today at the RISPCA!
Coconut is a 4-year old neutered male and is a very shy guy. He did live with another cat and may be able to be placed with one as long as the other cat is not too overwhelming for him. He is still getting used to living at the shelter. Loud noises make him nervous. Coconut still likes to hide at times, but once you start giving him chin scratches, he starts feeling very comfortable and you can see his demeanor change…he LOVES it! Mr. Coconut would probably do best in a quiet home with no small children and no dogs.
Mona is an 11-year old Mastiff mix. She has been a little nervous during her time at the RISPCA, sitting in a strange kennel surrounded by barking dogs, strangers walking by her cage and not knowing where her owners are. Mona is a sweetheart of a girl, a bit nervous, but has warmed up to the staff and volunteers quite quickly considering the circumstances. Mona would do well in a quiet home where she can live out her golden years.
