Meet Pepper and Berry – Our FURRY FRIENDS of the WEEK! (5/16/16)

Pepper is a gorgeous 12-year old spayed, declawed female cat. Her owners relinquished her because they were moving and were devastated they could not take her. Although Pepper was brought in with another cat (who has already been adopted) but she never liked the other cat and would do best as an only pet. Pepper does not like a lot of things…cats, dogs, children, men and loud noises. So really, the best home for Pepper is a quiet home – I’m sure we can find that for her! And although her previous owners say she is shy and hides a lot, we can already see she is coming out of her shell here at the shelter. It will just take her some time to adjust and she will need a patient owner and one that will let her do her thing. Also, they say she still likes to play!
Berry is a 2-year old Chihuahua. She is looking for a special person who will love her and let her sit on their lap. Berry’s owner was not able to take care of me anymore and she is a bit nervous at the RISPCA with everyone peaking in her cage. She loves walks and just hanging out. Because Berry is a little nervous, she would do best in a home with no other pets or children.
